The Beresini 2013 Pinot Noir Carneros was released in early 2016.
The 2013 Pinot Noir Wine Carneros, Napa Valley is made from 2 clones of Pinot Noir – the Swann clone, and the Calera clone. The 2013 grapes were harvested on September 17, 2012, and then cold soaked for 5 days. At harvest, the brix (sugars) were at 24.2. The grapes were then fermented for 16 days. After press the wine was aged a little over 11 months in French Oak Barrels and 369 cases of the 2013 Pinot Noir was bottled on August 22, 2013.
The Beresini 2013 Pinot Noir shows classic Carneros Pinot notes of red cherry, earth and cranberry. This wine is medium weight with crisp acidity and bright red fruits followed by earthy/mint tones.
Ronn Weigand, Master Sommelier and Master of Wine, rated the 2013 Beresini Pinot Noir with 5 stars. The 2013 Pinot Noir also received a rating of 91 from Pinotfile and won a gold medal at the Women’s International Wine Competition.
